Team Outer Galaxy would like to sincerely thank all the organizations and individuals that are helping us in many ways by sponsoring, advising and influencing our team. 2020-21 was our rookie FTC season which was all remote. Since then we have made tremendous progress in the STEM field and our success in the FTC competition and also the various outreach initatives to empower girls in STEM would not have been possible without the generous support from the sponsors.
80-85% of the sponsorship funds are used to buy FTC robot parts, equipment (like 3D printers), robot electronics and material to create custom parts. 15-20% of the funds are used to support STEM empowerment outreach initiatives including REV robotics sets and Spike Prime sets. Outer Galaxy uses goBilda parts for our competition robots with select REV robotics electronic components such as Control Hub, Expansion Hubs, sensors, etc. We use REV Robotics parts and electronics for STEM workshops in the US and also for international initiatives.
